Group Analysis North’s Board of Trustees has implemented a policy of social distancing with immediate effect to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.

Bethan Marreiros

Bethan works part-time and is based at Newlands. In addition, she works during each weekend block when the integrated training takes place. Bethan deals with the application process for all students, processing of payments and acts as the liaison between staff and students.

Messages can be sent to Bethan via e-mail or left on the answering machine.

Kate Lewis trained as an analytic group therapist at Goldsmiths College, London back in the late 80’s graduating in 1991 when she was working as a community psychiatric nurse in London. She moved to Liverpool in 1994 and worked as a private psychotherapist doing sessional work in the NHS and voluntary sector until joining the staff support service at Mersey Care in 2007. She also trained as an individual analytic therapist completing an MA at Sheffield University in 2002. Her current role, since 2010, has been as a group specialist psychotherapist in the NHS in Manchester. Kate also completed the IGA training in supervision in 2014 and continues to provide private supervision to individuals and groups. As a member of the Board of Trustees she has been part of a sub-group responsible for setting up the Cafe Psychologique in Manchester.

Mandy works with GAN as the Development Officer. Whilst beginning her career in social work, she began working in the NHS in 2000, working in both community and inpatient services as a clinician and manager. After working for 13 years in Secure Forensic Mental Health Services she took early retirement and now works in private practice. Her psychotherapy trainings include group, cognitive analytic and mentalization based therapy. She studied on the Advanced Course in Groupwork at the Red House, Manchester. Alongside clinical practice her areas of interest include developing effective team working within an appreciative leadership framework.
